The other day we were waiting while Tim tried on clothes in a dressing room, so I let Blake see all the pretty girls in the 3 way mirror. She was so interested in all the many versions of herself!

6 Weeks

According to my calculations, I'm 6 weeks along (lentil sized - ha ha). I've been getting very tired lately, and bonus! the past few days have been feeling nauseous. Not to mention, I already feel huge! For the most part, Blake and everything else keeps me so busy that I don't have time to think about being pregnant, so this time around I feel different. I'm still excited, but this time around, it's not so unknown... I guess I'm more relaxed about the whole thing.

A bunch of fun stuff coming up: We're having a garage sale tomorrow at GG's house, Tim's 2 softball games again on Sunday. Then next weekend we'll be at the lake, then Tim's parents will come to town the next weekend. Pictures to come!

Father's Day

Blake was "Daddy's little cupcake" today! She loves her daddy, and he is really great at making her laugh and squeal in delight. We had a great day. We went to brunch at Wall Street Bar & Grill (something we've always wanted to try) and it was delicious! We all 3 took a nap together, and Blake and I cheered Tim on at his 2 softball games. It was so windy (notice the hair!!)
It was a nice relaxing day! Blake, you make your Daddy so happy!

Happy Anniversary

It has been a happy 3 years of marriage for me and Tim. Just think, by next our next anniversary, we'll be a family of 4! I couldn't be happier with the family we've made! I love you.

Baby #2

I found out yesterday, but went in today for lab work confirming that we're pregnant! Tim and I wanted our kids about 2 years apart, and baby #2 is due in February right before Blake's 2nd birthday in March. Just about perfect, right?? It was a bit of a surprise that we got pregnant so fast this time. I think Tim and I were both expecting it to take awhile since it took us a year to get pregnant the first time. I could not be happier! Blake's going to be a big sister!

...We have an appointment on July 16th for the first sonogram.

15 Month Stats

Blake was quite the wiggle-worm at the doctor's this morning. It took a little bit of work to get through the check-up, but we made it. She weighs 23 pounds 6 ounces (50th percentile) and is 32 inches long (90th percentile.) I asked them to measure her length a second time because the first time they thought it was 31 inches, which would have made her shrink since her last visit. So we'll just say 32".

She met the developmental requirements of her age, and is a good eater and sleeper. Blake Michelle is doing great!

Grumpy

Although Blake is a very happy baby, today is not one of those days! She has been really cranky and clingy today, only taking a 20 minute morning nap and about 30 minutes this afternoon.... it's been a long day. I'm wondering if it's still just teething, or maybe it went to her ears too!?! We have her 15 month appt. Monday, so we'll see then.
