October

October was full of fun things!
The kids and I like to work puzzles and we decided that a Texas Tech puzzle was the perfect one for fall.
Grandma and Papa made the trip for Grand Day at school.
One chilly evening, we went to At'l Do Farms. They have a corn maze, a hay ride to pumpkin hollow, animals... it was lots of fun!
Of course, Blake and Easton have been going to the Texas Tech football games with us. We always have a blast there - win or lose!

They even got capes like the Masked Rider and got to meet him.

For Halloween this year, Blake wanted to be a black cat and Easton wanted to be Captain America. He didn't want the shield though, because he wanted his hands free.

Friday the 28th was the Fall Festival at school. It was round one for wearing their costumes and getting candy! They played every game, some more than once, and wore themselves out on the bouncy obstacle course.

Carving pumpkins went so much better this year! I usually end up carving the most, but this year the kids did most of the work!
 Slimy hands!
Easton wanted his jack-o-lantern to have a spooky mouth and ears.
Blake decided hers should have four eyes to be spooky.
I didn't take more pictures on Halloween, but we trick-or-treated until we dropped. We walked our neighborhood for a long time, until they both asked to go home. We tried to hand out candy at our house, but no one comes to our street because we're at the back edge of the neighborhood.
