Porcupines

While Grammy and Grandpa were here, Grammy and I took the kids to the park while the boys went golfing. We played in the shady parts of the playground for a good while before making our way to these big pine trees. (those are the cheesy smiles I get when pictures are posed...)

They climbed...
and played, and then Easton decided that a small branch of pine needles was a porcupine.
So he chased his sister with it, and tickled us with it...
"Look mama, I'm a porcupine!"
Until Blake decided to pay her brother back, and chased Easton with the porcupine. Silly kids!

Slip and Slide

Tim's parents came to visit this past weekend and we enjoyed a lot of it sitting on the back patio! The evenings were beautiful and it was our first time to break out the slip and slide.
Needless to say, they didn't know what to do! So Tim being the good daddy that he is, put on his suit to show them how it was done! They loved it.
Blake understood the concept, but was so dainty about it that her slides didn't go very far! Easton preferred to splash/walk down to the little pool on the end and flop down!

Grandpa helped Blake and gave her pushes to get to the end, but Easton would not let him do it to him. There's no need to worry that my little "daredevils" (ha ha) will get injured being too crazy.

Grandparents and Paint

So I'm really behind on posting things here... Work is going well, business is growing (yay!) and our days are full with gym, playing, working in the yard, and just entertaining and being entertained by a 3 and 5 year old!
Poppa and Grandma came to another soccer game (this was weeks ago...) They stayed for lunch and a little playtime and story time before the kids went to nap and they had to head back home.
Blake's soccer season has now ended. After the last post, she went back to being nervous... made some good passes, but not near the go-getter from the previous games. Oh well! She had fun!

I can't believe that it's already June. I'm going to enjoy the last of my time with my babies kids before school starts. One day I brought out metallic paint for Easton and sparkly paint for Blake and they thought I was the best mom ever!

My little artists!
