Winter Park Fun

There are two things that pop to mind when I think back to winter time in my college days at Tech. 1)the huge flocks of Canadian geese flying around and/or at every pond around town and 2)the bare trees full of birds squawking. In case anyone is wondering, both still occur! Only now I have two kids who are completely amazed by both. They point out every "v" of geese flying, every goose honk they hear, and we check every pond out we drive by to see how many geese are around. They also notice all the birds tweeting in the trees. 

One not-so-cold day, we went to a park close by the office to check things out. There are docks, bridges over the huge pond, and walkways all around. We went exploring! And yes, there were geese. 

Saturday

This past Saturday we went to pick up a few things from the grocery store and each kid got to push their own mini cart. They thought it was the coolest thing!

Then after nap time, we went to our first Red Raider basketball game with the kids. They loved it, but got a tiny antsy toward the end (more so Blake than Easton!) 

Update

Today was a fun day at the shop! You can see things really taking shape. We have received several shipments so far,

But my favorite was seeing the pipe truck pull up! The really cool part was that it just came from across the street at the manufacturer. 

The kids spent a lot of time running around and climbing on all the pipe stacks. I even started my forklift lessons and took a spin around the yard getting the feel of it. 

Going for a Ride

We got our forklift at the shop and the kids were dying to go for a ride. 

The guys were unloading crates, so it seemed like a good thing to ride in. Tim drove and Nino helped keep the kids steady... They loved it! 

Shipment

Yesterday we had our first shipment delivered. 3 pallets of inventory arrived! The kids were so excited to see what we got and jumped right in trying to unwrap it. 

More is arriving today! 

The office

We have only spent one day so far at the office and we spent the whole day building! Shelves, desks, desk chairs...

But it was a good start! Now to start stocking...

Triple T Pipe & Supply LLC is now up and running. (We just need to get the warehouse and office fully finished) Years of dreaming, months of planning and tons of supportive family members have helped us through this process. I am so proud of the boys for their hard work and the great service and relationships they have built professionally. More pictures and updates to come...

Lubbock

This is our new house! We have officially moved to Lubbock.

 It's a cold day here and we have a fire going in the fireplace. Boxes are still being unloaded, pictures being hung, and items organized... I have a feeling it will take awhile! But I wanted to document this big change before too much time passed.
