Magic
I have recently discovered the magical powers of Sesame Street. The first time it came across the tv while I was changing channels, Easton literally stopped in his tracks to sit down and watch Elmo. Now it's his one show he gets to watch daily and he loves it. He doesn't leave the living room the entire time and is the only time he stays so still! I swear I could leave and he wouldn't notice. Today he dragged this chair from a different room and had to put it this close to watch Sesame Street. (Blake always preferred Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and still does)

Denver weekend
Tim and I went away for the weekend to Denver. My good friend Laura got married on a beautiful hillside and the whole thing was amazing! It was so great to catch up with these lifelong friends (minus one who was busy about to have a baby!) I survived my first trip without kids and it was actually nice to have a little break... But we were both so ready to get hugs from Blake and Easton when we got back. After Friday night at the wedding, we spent Saturday in downtown Denver with Cathy and Matt. Shopping, bars, restaurants, street performers, protestors, very interesting!

Rodeo-in'
Think we might have a future cowboy on our hands?! Easton loves to ride the horse from Big Daddy and Mammy. Lately, he doesn't like to hold on... Just bounces as high as he can, hands in the air!

Cute
Blake and Easton make me smile (when they're being sweet!) and I just wanted to post some cute pictures. Both kids dance by wiggling their tushes and raising their arms, alternating arms. Really cute! I'm sure they get their incredible rhythm from both me and Tim. Ha ha!
Also, Blake likes to say "stick to me Easton" and he'll run up to her and hug tight and won't let go. Then they walk around stuck together, laughing hysterically. And sometimes they just hold hands. I love when they're sweet to each other, because they do fight!!

Septemberfest
We went to Septemberfest, an arts festival, the other weekend. It was chilly and very windy, but we had a fun morning nonetheless. I think the petting zoo was the biggest hit for my kids, but they also got balloon animals, and almost got their faces painted (Blake changed her mind at the last second). Blake also tried to talk me into buying all kinds of expensive, beautiful artwork! Ha.

Blog problems
So first I can't find my camera cord to upload pictures (like Blake starting preschool!! Ahhhh) and now my computer monitor dies... Looks like the few posts I can get around to lately will be from my phone only. I'm working on getting it together here!
Blake's First Week of Preschool
Written weeks ago, but was waiting to post with pictures.... 8/24/12
Blake started 3 year old preschool at St. Ann's this week. (she's the third generation to attend!) She goes from 8-3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So far, so good! I have walked her in both times, and no tears! I got my hug and kiss goodbye, then she called me back for one more hug.

Is it Fall yet??
I am not a hot weather person... So like I said before, we play outside in the mornings before it gets into the triple digits. With Blake being in preschool two days a week, I know we all (Easton especially!) enjoy our time together more. Blake has much more patience for her little brother since she gets time away from him at school.
