3 Months Old
Time is going by so quickly... Easton is 3 months old already! He is getting pretty talkative, making lots of noises, and he likes to suck on one or both of his fists. I'm pretty sure he's had his first laughs at his Grandma... but only her so far! Easton will play independently on his playmat for awhile, but when he tires of that, he loves being held upright and just sitting with you. He loves to bat at and grab his hanging toys on the bouncer and play mat. Easton is sleeping mostly 5-6 hours before his first night-feeding. Some nights it's 7 or 8 hours! We have such a good baby! One of my favorite things he does right now, is during tummy time (when he's not rolling) when he'll raise his head and chest off the ground (to 90 degrees) by pushing his arms straight and bend his legs at the knees. He looks like SuperBaby!

Jailbreak Austin
This past weekend, we went to Burnet for Tim to participate with Hector and his brother-in-law Matt in the Jailbreak. This 3.8 mile race led them through about 14 obstacles, mud, and hills. They said it was a blast! It was held at Reveille Park Ranch, which is just around the corner (literally) from my parent's lake house.
Katie, Bianca, Mr. and Mrs. Ornelas, Blake, Easton, Santiago and I enjoyed live music under a beautiful pavilion with a splash pool and sandy beach. We were also right in front of one of the last obstacles (a climbing wall) and enjoyed watching people (some busts, lots of successes!). The kids had a blast swimming and playing, and Easton enjoyed a nap just about the whole time!

I might be crazy, but I think I want to try the next one!

Peanut Butter
Along with potty training, of course we have had to talk about the parts that boys and girls have. We have taught her the correct terminology, but today, as Blake was going to the bathroom, she was telling me how she needed to wipe her "v-gina" (that's how she says it). Then she looked at me in all seriousness and said "Boys have peanut butter." I could not help but laugh! I guess she misheard us! or misinterpreted!
